Gibson Guitar has announced that Gibson Through the Lens, a world-class photographic exhibition featuring 60 vintage and rare photographs will be open to the public at The British Music Experience in London’s O2 Arena from Monday, November 7, 2011 through to January 31, 2012.

Gibson Guitar will be showcasing its latest and most innovative product to date – the Firebird X – at this year’s AES Convention, scheduled for October 20-23 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Center; Gibson Guitar will be located at AES Booth NBR 869. Gibson will host daily demos of the revolutionary guitar, and provide an interactive area for AES attendees to experience a guitar Premier Guitar called “inspiring” firsthand.

The first Gibson City Blues Jam in association with Stratstone of Mayfair Aston Martin and Gibson Custom launches at Boisdale of Canary Wharf on Tuesday 1st November 2011 at 8.30pm

The Gibson tour bus will be rolling into Generation Expo at the Brighton Centre. Taking place October 8th and 9th, the Expo is designed for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Generation Expo will feature an eclectic mix of exhibitors, live music performers and activities.

Los Angeles saw some major Firebird X launch events last week. There were private demos at Guitar Center Hollywood and Sam Ash Hollywood that allowed an excited crowd of guitarists to check out the revolutionary new guitar.

The Gibson tour bus rolled into Hyland’s Park in Chelmsford over the weekend of 20th & 21st August for the 2011 V Festival. The Gibson Tour Bus, one of four in the world was parked exclusively in the backstage artist area. Over the weekend, artists had the opportunity to test out the highly anticipated Gibson Firebird X guitar system with a Gibson product specialist.
