G-Node and FBX Editor Patch for Windows 8.1
In Gibson’s continuing commitment to the FBX and LPX guitars, this patch provides G-Node and FBX/LPX Editor compatibility with both 32- and 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating systems. It is not recommended to install this patch for Windows 7, Vista, or XP. Note that the current Mac version is compatible with OS X Mavericks.
At the end of May 2014, Microsoft updates for Windows 8 will be available only for Windows 8.1 and above. Microsoft recommends that anyone using Window 8.0 update to Windows 8.1. All examples and screenshots in the installation instructions apply to Windows 8.1.
Please note that unfortunately, the Licks function is not supported under Windows 8.1.
To install the patch:
1. Download the file Installation Instructions.pdf.
2. Download the file FBX+LPX Win8.1 Update.zip.
3. Open the Installation Instructions.pdf document, and follow the instructions. This document tells how to extract the files from FBX+LPX Win8.1 Update.zip and install them on your computer.
We welcome any comments concerning this patch, and look forward to seeing you on the Visionaries Club web site!
